The Delta County Republican Party has actively engaged with the community through various outreach programs for many, many years. Their latest event, “Family, Faith, Freedom and Community Metanza Cook-Off,” held May 10th, at the Delta County Fairgrounds in Hotchkiss, Colorado was a great success. Besides this event, they also host Trivia nights the 3rd Thursday of each month and participate in local celebrations such as Cherry Days, Pioneer Days, Deltarado Days, the Delta County Fair and Applefest. However, one community outreach program that really shines and the Delta County Republican Party is very proud of is:
The Delta County County Republican Scholarship Program
As a standout initiative, the Delta County Republican Scholarship Program aims to engage high school students in learning about local government and to participate in events concerning the community.Over the past 5 years, the program has awarded $23,000 in Scholarships to deserving students.
